Singular XQ Ep 1: Dr. Susan Weinschenk, UX Pioneer and Founder of The W Group

We had the honor of having pioneer Dr. Susan Weinschenk as our first guest at Singular XQ.

She is the author of 100 Things Every Designer Should Know About People, a book I like to give as a gift to aspiring designers, along with several other must-read titles.

Dr. Weinschenk was full of wisdom for UX Designers and UX Researchers in all stages of their career, from those transitioning or just starting to the challenges currently presented for UX in an Agile context.

I like to know the history of things. “Design Thinking.” “User Experience.” “Agile.” These buzzwords have a genesis and an evolution that we can track. Some might say that history is irrelevant and that all that matters is how these terms are used today in their current and most immediate context.

Nevertheless, I persist.

I like to know.
